Shipping and Returns
PLEASE NOTE THAT ROYAL MAIL DELIVERIES MIGHT TAKE SLIGHTLY LONGER TO DELIVER THAN USUAL AS THEY HAVE BEEN IMPACTED BY THE INCREASE OF ONLINE ORDERS. Thank you for your patience :)
All orders are shipped out Monday through Friday via Royal Mail for our untracked service and tracked service. This excludes bank holidays and all major holidays.
Please make sure to include any apartment, building, or suite number with your address if applicable. Any missing information from your address will effect delivery times and in some cases may cause your package to be returned to our office. In these cases, we will attempt to contact you for the correct address and additional shipping payment. If no response after 72 hours, your order will be refunded, minus your original shipping charge.
Most orders will ship within two business days. If your order is placed after 1 pm GMT on Friday, your order will be shipped out Monday. However, please allow for up to 48 hours for order processing during the holiday season.
Royal Mail UK = 2-3 business days.
Free untracked shipping via Royal Mail when you purchase 2 pairs or more.
£3 untracked shipping via Royal Mail when you order 1 pair.
If you would like to upgrade to tracked 48 delivery, you can for £4 (England and Wales only. 1-3 days for orders to Scotland and Northern Ireland).

Free (untracked) EU shipping via Royal Mail when you purchase 3 pairs or more.
£3 (untracked) shipping via Royal Mail when you order 2 pairs or less.
£7 (tracked) shipping, please allow additional 2 business days for delivery.
Royal Mail is scheduled to pick up on Monday through Friday between 1 pm and 2 pm. If your order is placed on a Monday evening, it will be picked up Tuesday afternoon.
All Next Day orders must be placed before 2 pm GMT to go out the same day. Any orders placed after this time will be subject to next day shipping.
1. Please, please be sure to include the state/province in addition to the city in your address form, even if it is not necessary for delivery in the country your socks are being delivered to; it will help exponentially with delivery time and accuracy.
2. International orders take between 3-7 business days to arrive depending on any number of variables, including customs procedures or delayed flights when heading overseas. Delivery time will vary!
3. Any international orders being shipped to a PO Box must include a phone number.
4. It is important that you include your email address during check-out if you would like to receive a tracking number to be able to keep an eye on your package while it is en route (for tracked delivery only).
All countries are different with customs and VAT, which is your government’s way of taxing you for goods purchased internationally. We recommend inquiring with your local post office for details on fees and additional time your package may take. All customs and VAT fees are the customer's responsibility.
ORDER AND SHIPMENTS NOTIFICATIONS
Order confirmations emails are sent shortly after your order is placed. Shipping confirmation emails will be sent once payment has been cleared. These have been known to sneak into the spam folder of email inboxes in the past.
Never fear! If you have received a message from Socksmith.co.uk with an order number on the website itself, your order has been placed.
We are also always more than happy to triple verify this order or shipping confirmation via our contact form; please include any information you may have, such as first and last name, date, or order number to assist us in locating your order efficiently.
Can I cancel or modify my order before it ships?
Unfortunately, we are unable to make changes once an order has been submitted. However, if you would like to cancel, please use the contact form to inform us, before 12 pm, on the day following your order placement.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
What is your return policy?
We accept returns or exchanges within 30 days for unworn merchandise in its original, unaltered packaging. No refund on return shipping cost, but don’t worry about the cost for the sock making its way back to you.
I received a defective product. Can I return it?
Yes. Unfortunately, defects do happen, and we want to make it right! Please send us an image of your defective sock to email@example.com, with a brief note about your order, within 30 days of receiving your order. We will respond asap with steps on how to return the socks.
Please Note: We know how exciting it can be to get a big package of socks in the mail, you just want to tear it open! However, please be very careful when opening your sock package, as we, unfortunately, cannot accept returns of socks with holes in them due to scissors from cutting your package open. Be careful!
Do you take returns from Socksmith retailers nationwide?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns from purchases made on other websites, Amazon, or brick and mortar retailers. Please contact them to inquire about their return policy.
